Mattie Hill returned to her alma mater in the fall of 2018 as an assistant volleyball coach for the Scots.
While at Macalester, Hill played as an outside hitter and represented the team as both a captain and starter throughout her career. Her coaching experience includes acting as head coach of the Park Hill High School Junior Varsity team, leading the team to a winning record during the Fall 2014 season. She also was an assistant coach for the Kokoro Volleyball club's 17's team during its 2013-2014 season, and has coached at numerous elite volleyball camps.
Hill graduated from Macalester in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies and received her Master’s degree from the University of Missouri in Agricultural and Applied Economics. She now works at Second Harvest Heartland as a Child Hunger Specialist.
