At Carroll, Doman rebuilt a last-place Midwest Conference team and guided the Pioneers to the 2007 MWC conference and conference tournament championship and the program’s first-ever berth in the NCAA playoffs. She was selected by her peers as Midwest Conference Coach of the Year following the 2006 and 2007 campaigns. At Carroll, she was also the Senior Woman Administrator and the Director of Recreation Sports.
Doman was the starting setter at NCAA Division I Austin Peay State (Tenn.) for four seasons and graduated cum laude in 2001 with a degree in special education. She was team captain as a junior and senior and finished with 4,885 career assists. Doman finished as the school’s all-time leader in assists and in her senior season, she led the NCAA with eight triple-doubles and was named honorable mention All-Ohio Valley Conference.
While completing her Master of Science degree in physical education and exercise and sport science at the University of Central Missouri, Doman served under legendary Division II head coach Peggy Martin from 2003-05 before taking charge of the Carroll program in 2005.
