Why I chose Macalester:
Macalester first caught my eye as an under-the-radar but highly esteemed small liberal arts college that seemed to attract a lot of really cool people. I chose Mac in the end for its open-mindedness, its international focus and popular IS department, and its location in the Twin Cities.
