Made the Dean's List... Pre-Vet Club co-president... Co-president of the Table Tennis Club.

2021-22
Received Academic All-MIAC honors... Registered a 6-10 singles record and 7-9 doubles record… Went 6-7 at No. 4 singles and 7-8 at No. 2 doubles… Won at No. 4 singles (6-1, 5-7, 10-5) and won at No. 2 doubles (8-2) against Concordia on Feb. 12.

2019-20
Played in four singles matches for the Scots... Defeated Saint Scholastica (6-1, 6-1) at No. 6 singles on Feb. 8... Paired up with Claire Buehler at No. 3 doubles and tallied a 2-2 record... Earned a No. 3 doubles victory over St. Thomas (8-1) on Feb. 28.

Was a team captain… Recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction… Named to the Honor Roll with Distinction… Awarded department honors.
 
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because it is very different from my hometown. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've seen snow and I have never lived in a city, so attending Macalester will be an exciting new experience.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Because of tennis, I learned the value in balance and taking breaks from schoolwork and studying. Some days I felt overwhelmed with work, but everything seemed just a little more manageable after a break for practice with my teammates.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Playing tennis at Macalester has taught me how to balance sports/extracurricular activities with a heavy course load and how to communicate and work with a team, both of which will help me beyond Macalester in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.
