How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?

Participating in athletics at Macalester has exposed me to a number of friendly and caring coaches, students, and staff.  Their example has encouraged me to pursue athletic and academic excellence, but to also build friendships and involve myself in the greater community.
