Ran at six meets outdoors for Macalester… Competed in the 110 meter hurdles, 400 meter hurdles and 4x100 meter relay at the MIAC Outdoor Championships on May 9-10.
 
Indoor
Ran at six meets for Mac… Placed fourth in the 55 meter hurdles in 8.78 at the Meet of the Hearts on Feb. 8… Placed fourth in the 60 meter hurdles in 9.36 at the Vanessa Seljeskog Classic on Jan. 25.

2024
Earned Academic All-MIAC honors.

Outdoor
Competed in the 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles at the MIAC Outdoor Championships on May 10-11… Logged a personal record of 1:03.62 in the 400m hurdles at the St. Thomas Joe Sweeney Invitational on May 1… Placed sixth in the 110m hurdles (16.97) at the Saint John’s Invitational on April 20-21.

Indoor
Competed in the 60m hurdles at the MIAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 22-24… Placed second in the 55m hurdles (8.37) at the Carleton Meet of the Hearts on Feb. 10… Placed fourth in the 60m hurdles (8.99) at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic on Feb. 17.

2023
Outdoor
Registered a personal record of 15.99 in the 110m hurdles at the MIAC Outdoor Championships on May 12-13… Placed third in the 110m hurdles (16.73) at the Norse Invite on April 15… Logged a personal record of 24.81 in the 200m at the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational on April 27-29.

Indoor
Logged a personal record of 8.93 in the 60m hurdles at the MIAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 23-24… Won the 60m hurdles (9.00) at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic on Feb. 18… Placed third in the 60m hurdles (9.20) at the St. Olaf Invitational on Jan. 28.

Before Mac
Eden Prairie High School team captain for both Cross Country and Track & Field… Ranked 11^th in Minnesota in the 110m hurdles in 2022… Ran the 110m hurdles in 15.13… Ran the 300m hurdles in 45.1… Member of the 4x400m relay team that finished in a time of 52.7… AP Scholar… PESO Dean’s List… Black Student Union Officer.
 
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because of the opportunities that come with living in the Twin Cities. Being so close to two major cities, there is no shortage of things to do. Not to mention the internships and career opportunities found here as well. I also wanted to be somewhat close to home, and Macalester is only a short drive from home. Lastly, I chose Macalester because of the great coaching and academic staff that wanted me here, and they really emphasized how much they valued me.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My student athlete experience at Macalester has shaped me into a disciplined and well-rounded individual. I've learned that learning is not a linear process, and that setbacks can often open the doors necessary for progress. I have also learned a lot about the process of learning itself, and that I know that I have a lot of growth left to do.
