Why did you choose to attend Macalester?

I chose to attend Macalester because of the rigorous academics and its ideal location in the Twin Cities. Plus, the bond between members of the team and our coach drew me in immediately.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student-athlete at Macalester has given me the opportunity to connect and foster close relationships with a diverse group of individuals, each with their own dynamic interests and backgrounds. Building rapport with my team members has not only made my time at Macalester more enjoyable, it has provided me with non-academic support systems that have helped my social and emotional health.
