Macalester College Athletics

Kostas Zaltos joined the Macalester Track & Field coaching staff as the throws coach in September 2025 after representing Greece in the World Athletics World Championships. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in the spring of 2025 after winning a NCAA Division I title in the hammer throw. Among his many accomplishments, Zaltos concluded his collegiate career as a four-time All-American and a four-time Big Ten Champion, and ranks sixth all-time in NCAA Division I history in the hammer throw. He continues to train and compete as he begins his coaching career.
