Finished the Mile in ninth-place at the Carleton Meet of Hearts in 4:39.94... Finished the Mile in 11th place at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic with a 4:36.04 time.
Outdoor
Competed at 6 meets for the Scots... Finished in twelfth-place in the 5k at the Janis Rider/Doug Bolstorff Invitational with a 15:44.64 personal best run.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
So far the biggest thing for me has been getting a lot of new life experience. Examples include living on my own in a completely new area and doing a lot of work that has been much more challenging than anything that I have done before. It has allowed me to get outside of my comfort zone. Also running on this team has been great. I have gotten faster and feel apart of a great running community.
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because I wanted a liberal arts college and a good place to run and Macalester looked like a good fit.
