Played 101 sets over 27 matches… Led the team with 291.0 points, averaging 2.88 per set… Totaled the most kills (239) and service aces (34)… Made the second-most digs with 350, averaging 3.47 per set… Registered 31 blocks… Totaled 15 kills, eight service aces, one assist, 22 digs, and a block in the 3-1 win against Luther on Sept 3… Received All-MIAC honors… Recognized as Academic All-District… Academic All-MIAC.

2021
Played 91 sets in 25 matches... Led the team in kills with 297 and kills per set (3.26)... Had a season high of 21 kills against Buena Vista on Sept. 4... Tallied 22 assists... Led the team in service aces with 32... Led the team in digs with 305... Totaled 41 blocks... Earned All-MIAC honors... Academic All-MIAC honors.

2020
Played nine sets in three matches for the Scots... Earned Academic All-Conference honors.

2019
Played in all 25 matches as an outside hitter/right side… Tallied 212 kills as a rookie and 25 serve assists… Defensively, King also recorded 31 total blocks and 188 digs, which was second most for the Scots… King had a season high 15 kills and was responsible for 21 points to help defeat Northland on Oct. 11. 

Before Mac
Named to the All-League Second Team during her senior season… Helped her team to a NorCal Championship… CIF NCS Scholastic Champion Runner Ups in three different years… Named as a FloVolleyball D5 NorCal Player to Watch… NCS Foundation Scholarship Recipient… Honored as a President’s Athlete, maintaining a 4.0 GPA… Commended National Merit Scholar Student.
 
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester for many reasons. The welcoming community was the first thing I noticed, and I quickly realized that I wanted to be a part of it. It's somewhere I'll be able to continue playing and developing in the sport I love, as well as challenging myself academically. 

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
It's taught me a lot about how much I can push myself and be pushed in both academics and athletics.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
It's helped me understand how to balance my time between work, school, and friends. It has prepared me for when I'll have more time outside of academics and sports.
