Macalester Athletic Training Room Appointment Scheduling
Macalester Athletic Training provides sports medicine services for Macalester varsity athletics, focusing on the overall health and wellbeing of our student-athletes. Our services include but are not limited to: injury evaluation, injury rehabilitation, injury treatment, preventative care, practice preparation, nutritional services and sports psychology.
Our staff is a great resource for Varsity Student-Athletes. Please schedule with your team athletic trainer. If they are not available, please email them and they will make arrangements to see you.

Sports Psychology:
Dr. Kirbi and Dr. Matt will continue to meet with the student-athletes that already have appointments made with them. Check your Mac email if you have an appointment, they will be reaching out to set up your virtual appointment.
If you would like help getting set up with mental health care at home, Dr. Adam and Dr. Matt can help you with that. If you are not currently on the schedule to see Dr. Adam or Dr. Matt and you would like to, please email your team AT and they will work with you to get you on their schedule.
Sports Nutrition:
Madi Veith will still be conducting nutrition appointments with our student-athletes. These appointments will be done virtually. You can sign-up via Setmore at this link.

Visiting Team Information
- A Certified Athletic Trainer is on site for all events.
- The Certified Athletic Trainer traveling with the team can administer treatments as needed, but if NO Certified is traveling, a prescription with specific parameters must be sent for treatments to be administered. Please let us know in advance if no Certified will be traveling.
- If you will be practicing on site the day prior to your event, please notify us ahead of time to allow for practice field setup.
- Ice and water are provided at the competition location throughout your event.
- A team physician is in attendance at all football games and an ambulance is on site. EMS and a team physician are on call for all other events
- Student Medical Assistants are available for assistance. Please let us know if you will be in need of their help.
Stadium Facilities - (Football only)
The Stadium houses the Macalester College football team. Visiting teams have access to ultrasound, estim, heat, and whirlpools. Taping tables are provided outside of the visitor’s locker room. In the spring, track has use of the stadium for treatments during events.
Leonard Center Facilities - (all other sports)
On game days, the Leonard Center training room is used by all sports, excluding football. Visiting teams have access to ultrasound, estim, heat, whirlpools, and a separate taping room. The visitors' locker room is located down the hall from the training room.
