Named to the MIAC All-Academic team… Participated in 11 rounds during his junior season… Compiled an 87.8 scoring average throughout the year… Shot his best round of the season on the first day of the St. John’s Fall Invitational… Tied for 13th at the Carleton-Macalester-St. Olaf Triangular on Sept. 16.
2017-18
Named to the MIAC All-Academic team… Competed in 13 rounds… Shot for an 89.3 scoring average on the year… Opened the season with an 84 at the MacMary Dual on Sept. 1… Shot his best two rounds at the Cobber Invite on Sept. 9 and 10 with scores of 83 and 82 in his two rounds played.
2016-17
Played in 14 rounds throughout his first season… Recorded a 92.1 scoring average on the year… Shot his best round in the Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invitational, opening the tournament with an 81… Added two more rounds in the 80s at the St. John’s Spring Invitational on April 29 and 30.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experience as a student-athlete has prepared me for graduation by making me more responsible, accountable, and acquainted with failure. Being on the golf team has taught me how valuable and rewarding having a tight-knit community around you can be.
