Why did you choose to attend Macalester?

I chose to attend Macalester because of the liberal arts education and its urban location.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?

My Macalester experience, so far, has meant having a tight knit community both in and out of the classroom.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?

The track program at Macalester has been an affirming outlet for competition, determination, and energy. In contemplation of post-graduate plans, it has helped me think about the necessity of the need to continue to put effort into something that I enjoy and care about that is not work or academic related. The program has prepared me to enter the "real world" with a bit more confidence and skills in communication, self-care, and genuine team work.
