Why did you choose to attend Macalester?

I chose to attend Macalester for several reasons. I was drawn to the small class sizes and the close student-professor relationships. I also like Macalester's location in the Twin Cities and how much there is to do, on and off campus. Most importantly, I love Macalester's focus on internationalism and diversity.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?

My experience at Macalester has been influenced by professors who are genuinely interested in both the subject matter they teach and the success of their students, encouraging independent thinking and a study of material interesting to the student.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Running at Macalester has helped me to become a more well rounded person by allowing me to engage and challenge myself both mentally and physically everyday. My teammates and professors inspire me to improve myself in a way that no other school or team could.
