What I appreciate most about Macalester:
Macalester has proved to be a warm and receptive atmosphere, in spite of the deep chill that sets in during the winter months. I have felt encouraged to pursue a healthy balance of academics, athletics, and social life.
What surprised me about Macalester:
I have been most surprised by the willingness of other students to go out of their way to lend a helping hand.
Favorite aspect of Minneapolis/St. Paul:
Macalester's location is unique. I have enjoyed the favorable ratio of humans to cows and number of shops open after 10.
