Why did you choose Macalester?
The size and location of Macalester are what pushed me to apply, but I really wasn't sure where I wanted to go at first. The more I found out about the school after that, the more I liked it, and I ended up choosing Macalester because it just fit who I am. It was really important for me to find an area of study that I could be passionate about. The first classes I took went off in all directions, but my experience here has helped me focus and find a way to combine my interests through classes and study abroad.

What other activities are you involved in at Macalester and in the community?
Art Alliance, SAAC

Do you have any unique talents, did you have a interesting internship this summer, have you invented something interesting?
Last semester I studied abroad in London. I got to see so many historical places and beautiful museums, but my favorite part was probably going on the Harry Potter studio tour, eating a chocolate frog, and getting to see Hogwarts.
