Captain of the men’s Cross Country team… Captain of the Nordic Ski Club.

Received Academic All-MIAC honors.
Outdoor
Registered personal records in the 1500m and 5000m at the MIAC Outdoor Championships on May 12-13… Placed second in the 3000m steeplechase (10:14.46) at the Norse Invite on April 15.
Indoor
Competed in the Mile at the MIAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 23-24… Logged a personal record of 4:36.98 in the Mile at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic on Feb. 18.
2020
Indoor
Ran the Mile race in a time of 4:45.75 at the UW-River Falls Winter Classic on Feb. 1... Finished the 3000m run in 9:33.38 at the Saint John's/Saint Benedict Alumni Meet on January 25.
Before Mac
Participated in the State Tournament… Member of the Dean’s List… Part of National Honors Society… Recognized as an AP Scholar.
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I loved the campus, the area, and the people. I thought the professors were great and I felt at home.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
I have gained a greater confidence in myself, and I have grown stronger, both physically and in my character.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete helped me build a sense of community in my life and has pushed me to be a more driven person in my other pursuits.
