DULUTH, Minn. – The Macalester College men's tennis team faced the College of St. Scholastica in a MIAC dual that would decide which team would qualify for the MIAC Playoffs. The Saints came away with a 7-0 victory on Sunday at the Duluth Indoor Sports Center. The Scots end the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 10-10, including a 4-5 mark in the conference. St. Scholastica improves to 13-6, 6-3 MIAC and will play in the MIAC Playoffs next week.

In doubles, the Saints won the match at No. 2 doubles, then took a close decision at No. 1 doubles. Senior Jordan Doi (Mililani, Hawaii/Mililani) and first year Charles Flaman (Calgary, Alberta/Rundle College) battled Eamon Gerrard-Stace and Mateo Torre before falling, 7-6 (7-2) to surrender the doubles point.

St. Scholastica also swept the singles matches, winning all six matches in straight sets.

The defeat marked the final competition for Doi, Macalester's lone senior, who was 39-28 in singles play over his four years.
