ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Macalester College men's tennis team lost to Luther College, 7-0 in a non-conference dual Saturday night at Rochester Tennis Connection. The result leaves both teams with identical 5-2 records on the season.

After Luther swept the three doubles matches to earn the doubles point, the Scots battled at No. 2 and No. 5 singles. Seniors Lucas Wood (Urbana, Ill./University Lab School) and Owen Lindstrom (Hanover, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville) lost close first sets, 6-4 before falling in the second set. The Norse were able to win all six singles matches in straight sets.

Macalester heads to Hilton Head, S.C., for its Spring Break Trip Mar. 15-20.
