ST. PETER, Minn. – The Macalester men's tennis team went on the road to face MIAC opponent Gustavus. The Scots came up short, falling 9-0. Macalester is now 7-10 (4-4 MIAC).
 
At third doubles, first year Kevin Mortimer and junior Owen Lindstrom (Hanover, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville) battled, falling 8-4. Juniors Jordan Doi (Mililani, Hawaii/Mililani) and Lucas Wood (Urbana, Ill./University Lab School) came close at second doubles, 8-3. Junior Liam Lynch (St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Academy) fought valiantly at No. 3 singles, despite falling 6-0, 7-5.
 
Macalester finishes the regular season Sunday April 28 at 3:00 pm. The Scots head to Owatonna, MN to face St. Olaf.
