PASADENA, Calif. – The Macalester College baseball team took on California Institute of Technology today in Pasadena. The game was close, but the Scots fell, 5-3. The Scots are now 1-1 this season.

Raymond McCaskey (Colorado Springs, Colo./Manitou Springs) and tie the game, 3-3. However, the Beavers were able to pick up two more runs and take the game, 5-3. Waddell and sophomore
Evan Kang (Sherman Oaks, Calif./Village Christian) both went 2-for-4 on the day.
The Scots round out their California trip on Sunday Feb 25 with a pair of games. Macalester will play University of Minnesota-Morris again at 10:00 a.m. CST and then California Lutheran at 2:00 p.m. CST. Both games will be in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
