ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College softball team is off to a 3-1 start and resumes its schedule this weekend with a pair of games in the Rochester Dome. The Scots head to Orlando, Fla., next weekend for 10 games at THE Spring Games during Spring Break.

The Florida trip begins with two games on Sunday, Mar. 12 and concludes on Friday, Mar. 17. The Scots return north for a non-conference doubleheader at the University of Northwestern on Mar. 25 before beginning MIAC play on April 1 at Bethel. The home opener is Sunday, April 2 against St. Olaf.

On Sunday, April 23, the team will honor its alumni, including 2022 Macalester Hall of Fame inductee Katherine Miles '00, as a part of Alumni Day for the doubleheader against St. Scholastica. The Scots will also recognize the 50th anniversary of Title IX while also honoring their seniors. Alumni who are planning on attending can register here.

Macalester, coached by Jody Gabriel, returns 13 players from the 2022 squad that finished one game out of a spot in the MIAC Playoffs. A group of six newcomers joins the returnees.
