ORLANDO, Fla. - The Macalester women's tennis team battled against the Cardinals of North Central College this morning. The Scots played tough, but fell to the Cardinals 7-2. Macalester is now 7-2 (3-0 MIAC).
 
Senior Amalin Sorajja (Rochester, Minn./Mayo) and junior Amanye Reynolds (St. Paul, Minn./Harding) won at No. 2 doubles 8-4. North Central took the points at first and third doubles.
 
Sorajja also earned a point for Macalester at No. 4 singles. She won in three sets (7-6, 4-6, 11-9). The Cardinals took the points at first, second, third, fifth, and sixth singles.
 
The Scots wrap up their spring trip on Friday March 17 at 2:00 p.m. CDT. Macalester will play Ohio Northern.
