St. Peter, Minn. – The Macalester College women's tennis team traveled to St. Peter to take on #33 Gustavus Adolphus. The Scots were defeated 9-0 by the Gusties. The Scots are now 4-9 (1-5 MIAC).
At No. 2 doubles, juniors
Amalin Sorajja (Rochester, Minn./Mayo) and
Avery Munster (San Luis Obispo, Calif./Mission) had the closest match against the Gusties, falling 8-3. Gustavus also took No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.
Sophomore
Amanye Reynolds (St. Paul, Minn./Harding) took three games between her two sets at No. 2 singles. The Gusties blanked the Scots at first, fourth, fifth, and sixth singles. Gustavus also beat Macalester at No. 3 singles.
The Scots' next match is scheduled for Monday April 11. The Scots will host Bethel at 5:00 p.m.
