Minneapolis, Minn. – The Macalester College men's tennis team competed in its second MIAC dual of the season. The Scots crushed the Cardinals of Saint Mary's 9-0. The Scots are now 6-4 (2-0 MIAC).

Alec Sargent (Rochester, Minn./Rochester Century) at No. 1 doubles to get the victory 8-2. At No. 2 doubles, first year
Jordan Doi (Mililani, Hawaii/Mililani) and junior
Josh Marine (Honolulu, Hawaii/Summit) defeated the Cardinals 8-1. Senior
Alexander Poland (Madison, Wis./Madison West) and first year
Liam Lynch (St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Academy) eased to an 8-0 victory at No. 3 doubles.
Slotted at No. 1 singles, Sargent defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-4. Senior
Karsten Knutsen (Minneapolis, Minn./Riverfield Country Day (Okla.)) won at No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-0. Doi won his No. 3 singles match in two 6-1 sets. Sullivan posted a 6-3, 6-0 victory at No. 4 singles. Junior
Anton Korolev (Moscow, Russia/Weil) went 6-0, 6-1 to win at No. 5 singles. The Scots' also won at No. 6 singles where Poland won in two 6-2 sets.
The Scots' next match is Sunday, March 26, at 2:00 p.m. The Scots travel to play St. Scholastica.
