Orlando, Fla. – The Macalester College women's tennis team traveled to Orlando, Fla. for its spring trip. The Scots' first opponent was the very talented St. Thomas of Florida, who is Division II. The Bobcats defeated the Scots 7-0. The Scots are now 2-4 (1-1 MIAC). 
 
Juniors Amalin Sorajja (Rochester, Minn./Mayo) and Avery Munster (San Luis Obispo, Calif./Mission) paired up at No. 1 doubles and got in a few set wins before falling 6-2. The Scots were swept 6-0 at both no. 2 and 3 doubles.
 
At No. 2 singles, Munster registered three set wins, despite falling 6-1 and 6-2. The Scots were swept at third, fourth, fifth and sixth doubles. Sorajja claimed one set at No. 1 singles, but also fell to the Bobcats.
 
The Scots' next match will be Stevenson University on March 15^th at 12:30 p.m. CDT in Orlando, Fla.
