ST. PAUL, Minn. – Macalester College senior forward
Emma LaFrenz (Edina, Minn./Edina) was chosen as the MIAC Offensive Player of the Week, for the second week in a row, announced by the conference today.
LaFrenz earned her third double-double of the season last week, recording 16 boards and 21 points against St. Catherine. Emma also had two steals in the game. On Saturday against Gustavus, LaFrenz added five rebounds to her count, totaling 21 last week. Eighteen of the 21 rebounds were defensive.
LaFrenz currently leads the MIAC with 72 total rebounds. She leads with an average of 10.3 rebounds per game and averages 8 defensive rebounds a game.
The Scots continue MIAC play on Wednesday Dec 7. Macalester travels to face St. Benedict at 7:00 p.m.
