WINONA, Minn. – Macalester College women's soccer team was on the road again this afternoon for a MIAC matchup against Saint Mary's. The Scots created multiple offensive chances, but were denied by the Cardinals and fell 2-0. Macalester moves to 7-5-5 (3-4-3 MIAC).

Becky Mulcahy (Baltimore, Md./Roland Park Country School) kept the Cardinals from getting off a good shot, and the teams went into halftime, 0-0.
Brisbin and Hamilton both had chances saved by the Saint Mary's goalie but it was the Cardinals who broke through with a goal in the 68
th minute. The Cardinals would score again in the 86
th minute to double their lead. The Scots fought till the end with two more chances saved, but they weren't able to overcome the deficit, and fell 2-0.
The Scots' next game will be Saturday Oct 29 at 1:00 p.m. Macalester will host Gustavus Adolphus at Macalester Stadium.
