Bloomington, Minn.- The Macalester College women's tennis team blanked Concordia College en route to a 9-0 win. The Scots improve to 5-1 (5-1 MIAC) while Concordia falls to 3-6 (1-6 MIAC).

Macalester started the match off by sweeping doubles play. No. 1 slotted first-year's
Arista Siebrits (Frisco Texas/Laurel Springs) and
Sydney Ellison (Birmingham, Ala./Spain Park) won their match by a score of 8-3. No. 2 duo of sophomore
Amalin Sorajja (Rochester, Minn./Mayo) and senior
Natali Sorajja (Rochester, Minn./Mayo) and no. 3 slotted senior duo of
Laurel Hickey (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) and
Emma Baker (Bentonville, Ark./Bentonville) both shutout their opponents in 8-0 victories.

In singles play, no. slotted Siebrits won in two straight sets by a score of 6-0 and 6-3. No. 2 Ellison coasted to a 6-0 and 6-1 victory in two straight sets. No. 3 Hickey also took her opponent down in two straight sets by a score of 6-1 and 6-0. Both A. Sorajja and N. Sorajja blanked their opponents 6-0 in two straight sets. First-year
Amanye Reynolds (St. Paul, Minn./Harding) also won her match in two straight sets by scores of 6-0 and 6-1.
