St. Peter, Minn.- The Macalester College men's tennis team ran into a hot Gustavus team and lost 9-0. While the Scots start the season at 0-1 (0-1 MIAC), Gustavus improves to 9-2 (5-0 MIAC).
 
Junior duo Jeffrey Jorgensen Menlo Park, Calif./Menlo-Atherton) and Alexander Poland (Madison, Wis./Maison West) put up a fight in the no. 3 slot but lost 8-6.
 
Sophomore Matthew Sullivan (Tacoma, Wash./Weil) dropped his singles match 6-3 and 6-4.
 
The Scots will take on Saint Mary's in Winona, Minn. on April, 11 at 3:30 pm.
