ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College water polo team will play a home-and-home series with fellow CWPA member Carthage College this spring. The two teams will play two matches at Carthage in Kenosha, Wis., and two matches at Macalester's Riley Pool.

"The team is really excited for the opportunity to compete again," head coach Scott Reed said. "They have been working hard and the excitement continues to build as we get closer to our competition."

The series begins on Friday, April 9 in Kenosha, with matches at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Macalester will host the Firebirds on Sunday, April 11, also at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The Scots, coached by Scott Reed, return eight players from last season and have one senior, Adeline Steward-Nolan (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park and River Forest), on the roster. Two first years have joined the team this spring.

Spectators are not allowed at Riley Pool but fans can follow all the action via live video on Macalester Athletics' All-Access page.
