ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College women's basketball team announced its schedule for the 2021-22 season, which begins on Friday, Nov. 5 at Martin Luther College. The first home game is on Nov. 16 against Northland.

The MIAC has adopted a 22-game schedule this season after each team played 20 conference games in 2019-20. Each team will play a home and an away game against every conference opponent, leaving room for three non-conference games. In addition to playing Martin Luther and Northland, the Scots will host Crown on Dec. 2.

Macalester, coached by Katie Kollar, will open conference play on Nov. 20 at home against Saint Mary's. Other highlights of the conference slate include home games against MIAC newcomer St. Scholastica on Dec. 8, Carleton on Jan. 5, St. Catherine on Feb. 9 and Augsburg in the season finale on Nov. 19.

The top six teams in the conference standings qualify for the MIAC Playoffs, which begin Feb. 22 at campus sites.
