MINNEAPOLIS, Minn- The Macalester women's tennis team lost to the University of St. Thomas today 9-0. The Scots are now 3-4 on the season as they look forward to their spring trip in Hilton Head, S.C.

In No. 1 singles, sophomore Laurel Hickey (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) lost in straight sets. Sophomore Natali Sorajja (Rochester, Minn./Mayo), in the No. 3 spot ,took her opponent to three sets but lost 6-4, 4-6, 4-10.

The Tommies swept the Scots in doubles.

Macalester returns to play Monday, Mar. 18, against Virginia Wesleyan College in Hilton Head, S.C.
