ST. PAUL, Minn.- The MIAC announced its year-end awards for women's basketball today. Sophomore
Justine Barraza (Burbank, Calif./Harvard-Westlake) and senior
Addy Perkins (St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park) were both named with honors.
Barraza was named to the MIAC All-Conference team, only one of three sophomores to receive this honor. Playing in all 25 games this year, Barraza scored a team-leading 13.6 points per game. She also scored 68 three-pointers, breaking the Macalester single-season record. She also ended the regular season with the most made three-pointers in the MIAC.
Senior Perkins was honored with a spot on the MIAC All-Sportsmanship team. Perkins played in every game this season, providing leadership and experience for the team and ending the season with 32 rebounds.
