DULUTH, Minn- The Macalester women's tennis team lost to the College of St. Scholastica College 5-4 today.

No. 3 singles sophomore Natali Sorajja (Rochester, Minn./Mayo) won her match in a three-set battle, 3-6, 7-5, 1(12)-0(10). Sophomore Emma Baker ( Bentonville, Ark./Bentonville) beat her opponent 6-3. 2-6, 1(10)-0(8) in the No. 5 singles position.

In doubles the Scots went 2-1, as sophomore Laurel Hickey (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) and senior Della Brown (Chicago, Ill./Univ. Of Chicago Laboratory School) won 8-6. Sorajja and Baker defeated their opponents 9(7)-8(3).

The Scots return Friday, Feb. 22, against Bethany Lutheran College in Lakeville, Minn.
