ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College women's tennis team fell to Gustavus Adolphus, 9-0 in a MIAC dual Sunday afternoon at the Hayden Tennis Courts. The result ended the regular season for the Scots, who are now 6-10 overall and 5-5 in the conference. The Gusties (15-7) completed a perfect MIAC schedule with a 10-0 record in league play.

Maegan O'Herin (Grand Rapids, Mich./Northview) and first year
Emma Baker (Bentonville, Ark./Bentonville) narrowly lost by the score of 9-7. O'Herin also went to a third set with Sheila Sullivan at sixth singles, eventually losing, 6-3, 3-6, 10-6.
Macalester, who qualified for the MIAC Playoffs for the first time in eight years, finished fifth in the conference standings and will face fourth-seeded Bethel on Tuesday, May 1 at 4:00 p.m. in Arden Hills, Minn.
