Minneapolis, Minn.– The Macalester College women's tennis team lost to a ranked Bethel University 8-1 today and are now 2-3 in conference play.

No. 3  singles Lily Stein (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) defeated Mattie Kidder in three sets, including a tie-break win for the second set, for the Scots only win on the day 3-6, 7-6 (7-4), 10-7.

No. 6 Megan O'Herin (Grand Rapids, Mich./Northview) lost a close three set match to Megan Schuler. 

In doubles, the Scots were swept by the Royals. 

The Scots return to action Tues., April 14 against Gustavus Adolphus College at 6:00 p.m.
