JOSEPH, Minn. – The Macalester College softball team lost a pair of games to the College of Saint Benedict, 9-1 in six innings and 7-0 in a MIAC twinbill Saturday afternoon at the CSB Softball Field. The Scots drop to 18-18 overall and 6-12 in the conference with the losses, while the Blazers (26-8) remain atop the MIAC with a 15-3 record.

In the second game, Macalester struggled to produce any offense, advancing runners to scoring position in two of the seven innings.
