ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Macalester College volleyball team competed at the University of St. Thomas in Saturday afternoon MIAC action. The Scots completed their 2015 seaason today with a loss to the Tommies in three sets, falling 25-16, 25-19, and 25-20.
The Scots finish the 2015 season with a 14-15 overall record and a 1-10 mark in conference play. The University of St. Thomas ended with an overall record of 9-17 and went 4-7 in MIAC action.
Gustavus Adolphus finished MIAC regular season play with a perfect 11-0 record to earn the number one seed in the tournament. MIAC Championship action will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7.
Sophomore
Clara Baumann led Macalester today on both ends of the court. Baumann finished with 12 kills and 14 digs in the match.
Arianna Hesterberg dished out 27 assists. Senior libero
Cora Trout collected 11 digs and
Hoai-Nam Bui added 10.
The Tommies were led by Taylor Lewis who collected eight kills and 15 digs.
