When Last We Met
The last meeting between the Scots and St. Olaf took place in St. Paul on Dec. 3 of this season. In that game, St. Olaf secured the lead on the first bucket of the game and never lost it. At the half, Macalester trailed by 14, having scored just 22 points in the first 20 minutes. Lauren Clamage led the Scots offensively with 15 points on the night. Clamage hit two of five shots from beyond the arc and knocked down a perfect five of five shots at the line.

Macalester and Concordia also met earlier this season, Jan. 5, in St. Paul, with the Cobbers came away with a 73-56 victory. The Scots started off strong as junior Erin Murray drained a three-pointer just 20 seconds into the game. Murray would continue her hot streak as she led the Scots with a team-high 17 points, knocking down three of seven shots from beyond the arc. A hot-shooting Concordia team was able to secure a permanant lead in the second half to gain the victory.

Last Time Out
Macalester women's basketball missed 13 free throws and shot just 20% in the first half as Carleton grabbed a 63-52 win in MIAC play on Saturday, Jan. 24.

The Scots had a rough start, allowing the Knights to jump out to an 11-0 lead to start the game before Regan Fruh connected on a layup at the 13:17 mark. Macalester ended the half down 11, but Carleton would extend the lead to 19 (their largest of the game) early into the second after starting the half with an 8-0 run.

The Scots battled back led by Vivi Gregorich who scored 20 points in the second half alone on seven of eight shooting from the field. Gregorich hit four shots from beyond the arc and ended the night with a career-high 21 points.
