Box Score SAINT PAUL, Minn. -- The Macalester College volleyball team took the court this morning for their final match-up at the 2014 Macalester Volleyball Invitational. The Scots took on the University of Minnesota Morris and fell to the Cougars in three sets. Final scores came in at 25-22, 25-22 and 25-19.

The Scots fall to 5-4 overall this season and went 1-3 in tournament play. Minnesota Morris improves to 5-2 on the year.

Brooke Hunter (Stillwater, Minn.) led Macalester with 12 kills in the match. Hunter hit a .345 attack percentage.

Samantha Bongiorno (Richardson, Tex.) dished out 16 assists, while Arianna Hesterberg (Kenmore, Wash.) added in 12.

Libero Cora Trout (Columbia, Mo.) finished with a team-high 19 digs.

Minnesota Morris was led by Emily Auch with 13 kills.

The Scots will return to action as they travel to the ACM Tournament hosted by Grinnell College on Sept. 13-14. Macalester will take on Luther College and Knox College to begin tournament play.
