On Tap: Looking to snap a three-match losing streak, Macalester volleyball will host St. Olaf College in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Leonard Center. The Scots will continue play over the weekend as they compete against Carleton College and UW-La Crosse at the Carleton Triangular on Saturday, Oct. 18 in Northfield.
Records: Macalester, 8-14 overall, 0-6 MIAC (12th place)
St. Olaf, 8-14 overall, 1-4 MIAC (10th place)
Carleton, 12-6 overall, 2-4 MIAC (9th place)
UW-La Crosse, 8-13 overall, 1-3 WIAC
When We Last Met:The Scots last matched-up against St. Olaf on Oct. 9, 2013 when they defeated the Oles in four sets to gain their third conference win of the season. Macalester last met Carleton College on Oct. 4 of last season, sweeping the Knights in three straight sets.
Last Week:Macalester is coming off two MIAC losses to Hamline University and Gustavus Adolphus. The Scots dropped both matches in three sets.
