Macalester out-scored host-Gustavus Adolphus 8-3 over the game's final 4:59 to gain a 57-55 comeback win over Gustavus Adolphus on a cold Monday night in St. Peter.  The Scots snap a seven-game slide and pick up their initial MIAC decision of the season.  Mac is now 2-7 overall and 1-5 in the MIAC.  The Gusties fall to 5-4 overall and 2-4 in the MIAC.

The Golden Gusties led 11-3 in the early-going and were on top at halftime 32-23 after leading the entire half.  GA's lead grew to 11 points before the visitors started chipping away, taking their first lead at 53-53 with 4:25 to go.  Gustavus tied the score at 55-55 with a jumper at 1:21, but the Scots came away with the victory when Jakubovie netted the game-winning basket with :21 to play.
