Macalester took on D3hoops.com No. 10-ranked St. Thomas Monday night at UST and was held to a 25% shooting mark in a 62-36 defeat to the Tommies.  The Scots drop to 1-6 overall and 0-4 in the MIAC; St. Thomas advances to 5-1 overall, 3-0 in MIAC play.

The Scots, who were just 13-for-52 from the field and 2-for-10 from three-point range, were paced by Grace Dickman with six points and Park Masterson with five.  The team's top rebounder was Masterson with seven boards, while Erin Murray (So., Sparta, Wis.) finished with four assists and four steals.

St. Thomas was led by Maggie Weiers with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

UST led 34-15 at halftime by holding Macalester to just five baskets.

Macalester is off until a Jan. 4 game at Hamline.
