Macalester vs. Augsburg statistics
In a battle between a pair of team expected to be in the race for the conference title, last year's MIAC playoff champ Augsburg beat last year's regular-season champion Macalester 1-0 in St. Paul. The past three matches between these two sides have all been decided by 1-0 scores. Augsburg wins at Macalester Stadium for the first time since 1986 – snapping a 12-game road losing streak to the Scots.

Matt Weyer (Sr., Cedarburg, Wis.) (6 times) and Augsburg keeper Clayton Lynch (4 times). Augsburg out-shot the home squad 10-7 (7-4 in shots on net).
Augsburg's Mathias Macody Lund's shot deflected off another player and got past Weyer for the game's only goal in the 60th minute.
The Scots drop under .500 at 3-4 on the season and are 1-1 in the MIAC. The Auggies, ranked No. 7 in the North Region, are 5-0-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
