After claiming their first win of the season yesterday, the Scots won two more matches Saturday at the St. Kate's Invitational. Macalester topped Alverno (Wis.) 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-23) and Wisconsin-Stout 3-1 (25-19, 25-16, 13-25, 25-14).

Taylor Tinkham (Sr., St. Louis Park, Minn.) provided Mac with 19 kills on a .613 hitting percentage (19-0-31) to lead the way past Alverno. Glasha Marcon (Jr., Richmond, Calif. / Albany) and Bailey Rehnberg (York, Pa. / York Suburban) led the defensive effort, coming up with 19 digs and 17 digs, respectively.
Danielle Dweck (Sr., Sea Cliff, N.Y. / North Shore) dished out 32 assists and served three aces, while Lara Avena (So., Cesis, Latvia / Riga Gimnasium #1) finished with nine kills, seven digs and two blocks.
Against Wisconsin-Stout, the Scots won the first two sets and after dropping the third, finished off with a decisive 25-14 win in the fourth set.
Rehnberg had a career-high 31 digs to lead the way, and Dweck had 34 assists. The attack was led by Avena with 18 kills, and Tinkham added 10.
The Scots are 3-6 heading into their MIAC opener Wednesday (Sept. 14) at St. Mary's.
