Macalester vs. St. Thomas statistics

No. 12-ranked St. Thomas hosted the Scots Friday night and improved to 18-3 on the season with a 3-0 sweep.  The Tommies, who are in a five-way tie for first in the MIAC standings, attacked at a .344 percentage and served nine aces.

Taylor Tinkham (Sr., St. Louis Park, Minn.) led the Macalester attack with nine kills.  Glasha Marcon (Jr., Richmond, Calif. / Albany) led back row play with nine digs, while Danielle Dweck (Sr., Sea Cliff, N.Y. / North Shore) had 16 assists and six digs.  Bailey Rehnberg (So., York, Pa. / Suburban) also had six digs.

St. Thomas was led by Taylor Cross with 11 kills and Ashley Maher with 34 assists.  Cross hit .647.

Macalester (5-15 overall and 0-6 in the MIAC) face another big challenge Wednesday (Oct. 12) when it plays host to Concordia-Moorhead, the No. 10-ranked team in the NCAA Division III.  The match gets underway at 7 p.m.
