The Scots dropped their four matches over the weekend at the Wisconsin-Stout Tournament in Menomonie, Wis. Macalester lost to Dubuque (Ia.) 3-1, UW-Stout 3-0, Luther (Ia.) 3-2 and UW-River Falls 3-0.
Taylor Tinkham (Sr., St. Louis Park, Minn.) was named to the all-tournament team after leading Macalester in kills (2.93 per set) and hitting percentage (.221).
Anna Trier (Jr., Sun Prairie, Wis.) added 2.91 kills/set and hit .161.
Glasha Marcon (Jr., Richmond, Calif. / Albany) led the play in the back row, producing 4.5 digs per set over the weekend. Baily Rehnberg (So., York, Pa. / Suburban) added 2.4 digs a set and
Danielle Dweck (Sr., Sea Cliff, N.Y. / North Shore) averaged 2.2 to go along with 6.2 assists per set.
Mac's closest match was a 3-2 defeat to Luther as the Norse won the decisive fifth set 15-5. Trier led the way with 17 kills, Dweck distributed 35 assists, Marcon had 20 digs and
Hannah Rehak (Fy., Chicago, Ill. / Walter Payton Prep) provided six blocks.
Macalester plays an MIAC match Wednesday (Oct. 19) at Hamline.
