The Scots swept Grinnell (Ia.) 3-0 to begin weekend play at the Macalester Invitational, but could not hold a 2-1 lead in a five-set loss in Friday's second match against Waldof (Ia.). Macalester plays tomorrow against Concordia (Wis.) at 10 a.m. and Carleton at 12 noon.

Majra Mucic (Sr., Zenica, Bosnia / St. Louis Park – Minn.) finished with 17 kills against Grinnell and 15 against Waldorf to lead the Macalester attack.
