St. Mary's began a 17-4 run midway through the first half to open up a 25-17 advantage, and never gave up its margin en route to a 59-50 victory over the Scots in Winona. The Cardinals held Macalester to a 30% shooting figure on the night and improve to 2-13 on the season, 2-10 in MIAC play. The Scots have dropped three in a row and are now 8-7 overall and 6-6 in the conference.
